Student course time commitments may vary from course to course. Typically a 14-week or 16-week course requires two (2) additional hours of preparation for each credit, per week, outside the classroom (or after the virtual/Zoom course session). For 16-week fully online courses, students would spend about three (3) hours on course work per credit, per week.
Regardless of the delivery method, approximately 45 hours per credit of total student effort is anticipated. This equates to 135 hours for a 3-credit course.
