Computer Animation Minor (M)

The Computer Animation Minor provides students with foundational and applied skills in digital animation, visual storytelling, and creative production using industry-standard tools and techniques. Through a sequence of courses in animation principles, 2D and 3D modeling, and digital production, students develop technical proficiency and artistic fluency that complement majors in computer science, graphic design, media arts, and related fields. Graduates of the minor gain creative problem-solving, multimedia communication, and portfolio-ready experience, equipping them to contribute to animation, game design, motion graphics, and other technology-driven visual media opportunities while integrating their work with Concordia’s commitment to thoughtful and ethical engagement with culture.
